Nicely done! We counsel our patient’s similarly.

I’m not sure if it’s the placebo effect but the Pregabalin does help me with the neuropathy.

I’ve found pregabalin (despite lack of evidence) can be helpful for the pain component but does nothing for numbness.

Thanks for this! Will now stop my B6 pill!

You’re welcome. Would you let me know if there is any difference to your symptoms a few weeks after stopping? I’m curious.

Sure! Happy to!

Hi Sharon, great overview. I developed neuropathy after being prescribed B6 by an integrative practitioner. The symptoms resolved after I stopped it. Later, I unknowingly took a sleep supplement with only 4.5 mg of B6 daily. Over time, my neuropathy returned and my blood levels were double normal. A good reminder that even small daily exposures can add up. Thanks for bringing attention to this. Even supplements can have unintended consequences.

Thank you so much I am suffering from CIPN its dibilitating and has impacted my quality of life greatly. I don’t take anything right now, I swim and do water aquatics I found things that make it worse but nothing that makes it better. Using a GLP1 to lose some of the weight from endocrine therapy has helped the mobility to that end but the neuropathy remains.
